Telematics provides end-to-end wireless networks that are optimized to the customer's specific application requirements, such as two-way sensors data collection and management, home automation, location of mobile assets and people within the network's coverage area.
Telematics' technology consist of:
- Tnet enables any number of sensors, actuators, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or portable devices to be connected in an intelligent mesh network configuration, providing bi-directional, reliable and efficient control of data, processes and assets; automatically and in real-time.
- Large selection of low-power low-cost wireless network components, including end units, transceivers, network repeaters and network gateways that can be configured into mesh networks as well as multi-level mobile or fixed area networks.
- Comprehensive use of different physical layers (PHY) such as FSK digital modulation, Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS), Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS), TDMA and ZigBee.
